Perched atop the crest of Mt. Miramundo in western Honduras—where “Miramundo” literally means “look at the world”—Finca Miramundo was founded in 1987 by Señor Marco Tulio Lopéz. Blessed with dark, rich soils, mountain springs, a refreshing misty climate, and a canopy of shade trees, the farm is ideal for exceptional coffee production. When global coffee prices plunged, North American entrepreneur Lloyd Davidson partnered with local experts to revitalize the estate, combining traditional Honduran coffee culture with modern, eco-friendly processing and a commitment to quality.

Cafe Miramundo combines proud coffee growing traditions of western Honduras with current ecologically sensible processing techniques. Our beans are shade grown, spring washed and sun dried at 1300 meters atop Mt Miramundo (literally - "view of the world") over-looking the Mayan ruins of the Copan Valley.
